Predictive Analytics as a further component of Big Data Analytics will be one of the most important services for renewable energies in the future. This will be the only way in the future to significantly reduce the necessary CAPEX and OPEX. Another important starting point is to minimize the production downtime, which will play a crucial role for example in the offshore wind park segment. Kaiserwetter will consistently use and promote the possibilities of the Internet-of-Things in the implementation of Predictive Analytics in the field of renewable energy.
In addition to the data from the classic Condition Monitoring System (CMS), Kaiserwetter also integrates the performance data in an algorithm-based simulation model. Based on the data collected, we are able to suggest and implement risk prevention for our customers’ energy parks since the existing data pool allows us to categorize risks for different types of energy parks, so that Predictive Analytics in combination with the aggregated data from the portfolio management means much more than the minimization of production downtimes.
